However,\nthere is little literature describing the naming of menu. Therefore, we conducted an analysis of the words that make up the names of the dishes in the September nursery school lunch facilities listed on the Internet.\n In this survey, The names of the dishes were classified as Pattern 1(Ingredient name + Conditioning method / Finished product), Pattern 2(Ingredient name +An epithet+ Conditioning method / Finished product), Pattern 3(An epithet+ Conditioning method / Finished product), Pattern 4(Ingredient name + Conditioning method / Finished product+Postscript), Pattern 5(Ingredient name), and Pattern 6(Conditioning method /\nFinished product).\n Pattern 1 was the most common pattern that appeared (63.2%). The composition of the ingredients name, the cooking method or the finished product, and the necessary information for the menu was described with a minimum of information, which was the most used representation of the food name in the nursery school lunch program.
