| 内容記述 | The term Kyoto-kanke-shizoku refers to the low-level functionaries who served in the Imperial Court until 1869. They became unemployed and impoverished as a result of the Meiji Restoration. The organizations Heian-gikai and Kyoto-Ohkitsu-zaidan were founded to support them. Heian-gikai Siryo （the Historical Materials of the Heian-gikai） and Ohkitsu-zaidan Siryo （the Historical Materials of the Ohkitsu-zaidan） are the materials handed down from generation to generation in these organizations. In 2016, these materials were donated to the Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives.
