内容記述 | The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the learning effects of English e-learning. We particularly focus on a consideration of e-learning contents and how students studying English with e-learning have developed their English ability. In 2018, Komazawa Women's University adopted two kinds of e-learning contents in some required English classes for the first year students: Practical English 450 and TRACKER FOR THE TOEIC (R) L&R TEST; both of which are developed by Reallyenglish Japan Co.,Ltd. Practical English 450 is a computer based program which focuses on the improvement of the so-called “four skills in English learning,” i.e. listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In addition, TRACKER FOR THE TOEIC (R) L&R TEST was introduced to measure how students improve their English skills through Practical English 450. As it is a TOEIC mock test, students can take it as if they were taking the real TOEIC test. This paper particularly outlines (i)an overview of the two e-learning contents, (ii)how classes using the e-learning contents were organized,( iii)how students developed their English skills through the e-learning contents. Furthermore, we would like to introduce some students who have made distinguished achievements through the e-learning study. |
